Come see why this recent Broadway hit has been enjoying standing ovations at every performance. If you’re a theatre goer who enjoys powerful, intelligent, thought-provoking theatre with great acting, don’t miss the final weekend of Time Stands Still, at The Public Theatre, Lewiston/Auburn's Professional Theatre.

Time Stands Still explores the romantic and professional relationship of a photojournalist and a war correspondent who must face their toughest challenge yet - re-entry into a traditional domestic life. But what’s the more dangerous place - a war zone or a committed relationship? Is focusing on the happiness in their lives an act of courage, or a naïve denial of the suffering around them?

Time Stands Still will be performed March 21, 22, 23, 24. Thurs/Fri 7:30pm, Sat at 2pm and 8pm, Sun 2pm. Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for groups of 10 or more, and $5 for anyone 18 and under. Time Stands Still contains adult language. For tickets call 782-3200 or FMI visit

Time Stands Still is sponsored by Androscoggin Bank, Visbaras Law/Excalibur Title, Liberty Mutual and Portland Magazine. Season Underwriters are The Sun Journal, Platz Associates, Schooner Estates, Austin Associates, DownEast Magazine and Gleason Media.
