Get ready for 50 minutes of pure delight! Poetry has never been so much fun!
One of the best known and silliest poems in children's literature magically springs to life in this highly imaginative, entertaining, and giggle inducing production by the nationally acclaimed Crabgrass Puppet Theatre. This fabulous and funny adventure tale is an unforgettable introduction to the world of poetry.
Inspired by Lewis Carroll's famous nonsensical poem, Jabberwocky tells the tale of a young boy who sets out on a quest to find the fierce Jabberwock and travels through a mysterious landscape filled with such wondrous creatures as the slithy toves and the Jubjub bird. The production uses a variety of whimsical hand and rod puppets to tell this rousing adventure story featuring daring deeds, imaginary animals and a climactic battle between boy and beast. Jabberwocky is a hilarious and entertaining introduction to poetry as well as a delightful romp through the world of language and literature.
