Transforming himself into a chicken, a crocodile and even a gorilla right before your eyes, his unique skills, coupled with joyful audience participation, will delight and amaze young theatre-goers.

Antonio Rocha, a native of Brazil, began his career in the performing arts in 1985. In 1988 he received a Partners of the Americas grant to come to the USA to perform and deepen his mime skills with Mime Master Tony Montanaro. Since then he has earned a Summa Cum Laude Theater BA from USM (University of Southern Maine) and studied with Master Marcel Marceau. Mr. Rocha’s unique solo shows of stories and mime have been performed from Singapore to Hawaii and many places in between including 16 countries on 6 continents. Some of the venues include The Singapore Festival of the Arts, Wolf Trap, The National Storytelling Festival, The Kennedy Center, The Smithsonian Institution, The National Geographic, The Tales of Graz in Austria, Dunya Festival in Holland as well as many other Storytelling Festivals and educational institutions around The USA. Antonio has some fun and award winning DVDs and picture book too!

When should I arrive at the Theatre?

Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your performance to allow time to pick up your tickets And be seated BEFORE the curtain time.  Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the staff.

The theatre lobby is open 1 hour prior to curtain time.

The house will open 1/2 hour prior to the curtain time.

Where can I Park?

Free parking is available at the Theatre located at the corner of Lisbon and Maple St in downtown, Lewiston. See details about parking and map

During performances, the curb in front of the doors will be a PATRON DROP-OFF area, with no parking.  Please observe the signs when attending a show.

Often, due to snow accumulation, parking in our lot can be limited.  There is also free parking available at the municipal parking garage next to Kaplan University, as well as the lot across from the college, on the other side of Maple Street from our lot.  Please allow sufficient time to park your car and walk safely to the Theatre in time for your performance.

In the Event of Snow

There will be no refunds in the event of inclement weather, unless we cancel the performance.  Tickets may be exchanged up to 48 hours prior to your performance.  All exchanges are subject to availability.

No-shows are not be eligible for exchange.  If you have any questions regarding your reservation please call our Box Office at (207)782-3200.  


We have light refreshments for sale at our concession stand before the show and during intermission.  Offerings include chocolate chip cookies from The Italian Bakery, bottled water, Carrabassett Coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and soda.

Some shows do not have an intermission.  Concessions will be open before the show and we may have "cookies to go" for sale following the performance.
