We need to hear from YOU!
We are exploring “virtual” options for people who are not yet ready to physically return to the theatre. We recognize that watching live theatre that has been pre-recorded or live-streamed is not the same experience as being at the theatre, but it might be a temporary option to help make producing financially viable.
We have distributed a short survey through email or USPS asking for your feedback on virtual programming.
You may return your paper survey to us OR click the button to complete it online.
PLEASE ONLY COMPLETE THE SURVEY ONCE.
We miss you!
Your safety, our safety and our actors’ safety is our priority. Reopening will also depend on the CDC guidelines, permission from Actors’ Equity and the financial considerations of performing for a limited sized audience.
At this point in time, we are preparing for three possible scenarios.
Plan One: we can start producing in November
Plan Two: we start in the Winter of 2021
Plan Three: starts in the Spring of 2021
Because we own our building, we have the flexibility to produce into next summer if need be.
Our hope is to produce a season of four shows that we will be announcing in the near future. We are currently planning that the play Middletown will be one of these shows, and your tickets to it from last season can be used. If we are able to successfully produce the 4 shows, we will consider adding a revival of Sexy Laundry in late Spring/Summer 2021 as a fundraising production.
We would rather find ourselves delighted to be able to add programming than have to change plans that were unrealistically ambitious.
The bottom line is that we don’t want to sell you anything until we know what we can actually produce. More details on all of this will follow once we get a green light and are able to move forward. In the meantime, we are very grateful for your patience.
