The Public Theatre, in partnership with Lewiston Parks and Recreation, is offering one week theatre camps for children ages 8-14.

Led by professional theatre artists, these newly devised camps provide aspiring artists with a fun, creative, and engaging environment to explore theatre, develop self-confidence and collaborate with others.

Participation is limited so secure your spot today!

Musical Theatre Camp 1 with The Public Theatre – FULL

July 8-12, 2024  |  9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Cost: $200 – Lewiston Residents  / $225 non-residents
Location: Mon-Thur: Lewiston High School / Friday: The Public Theatre

Led by professional theatre artists from The Public Theatre this camp is designed for young performers, ages 8-14 who love to sing and dance! Explore musical theatre in a fun, creative and engaging way while you study voice, acting and learn choreography from your favorite musicals..

A final presentation celebrating the participants’ work will take place on Friday at 3:00 PM at The Public Theatre in Lewiston.

Theatre Camp 1 with The Public Theatre

July 15-19, 2024  |  9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Cost: $200 – Lewiston Residents  / $225 non-residents
Location: Mon-Thur: Lewiston High School / Friday: The Public Theatre

Led by professional theatre artists from The Public Theatre, this camp is designed for young performers ages 8-14. Through a series of fun, creative, and engaging theatre games, you’ll expand your imagination, explore theater and build self-confidence, as you learn new skills to help you authentically and joyfully express yourself.

A final presentation celebrating the participants’ work will take place on Friday at 3:00 PM at The Public Theatre in Lewiston.
